Information for delegates of the Global Education and Skills Forum on passports and visas required for entry to the UAE.

The following information was correct at the time of publication, but Global Education and Skills Forum delegates should be aware that this information may change from time to time.

Visitors to the United Arab Emirates must obtain a visa prior to travel unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or one of the countries whose citizens are eligible for visa on arrival.

All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months, and entry into the United Arab Emirates is subject to immigration approval.

Delegates attending the Global Education and Skills Forum are solely responsible for ensuring they have the correct visa or permission to enter the United Arab Emirates. Citizens of member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council have a freedom of movement in the UAE and the Schengen Area.

If your country of nationality is NOT on the list below, you will need to make your own visa arrangement at your relevant UAE embassy or consulate service BEFORE you travel. We recommend that you leave sufficient time to arrange this prior to departure.

If your country of nationality appears on the list below, you can disembark your flight at Dubai International Airport and proceed to Immigration, where your passport will be stamped.
