Visas

Information on passports and visas.

Visitors to the United Arab Emirates must obtain a visa prior to travel unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or one of the countries whose citizens are eligible for visa on arrival.

All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months, and entry into the UAE is subject to immigration approval.

This means that delegates at the Global Education & Skills Forum are solely responsible for ensuring they have the correct visa or permission to enter the United Arab Emirates. Citizens of member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council have a freedom of movement in the UAE and the Schengen Area

If your country of nationality is NOT on the list below, you will need to make your own advance visa arrangement at your relevant UAE embassy or consulate service. You might also be able to arrange a visa through the hotel you book in Dubai or via Emirates Airlines Visa Services. We recommend that you leave sufficient time to arrange this prior to departure.

If your country of nationality appears on the list below, no advance visa arrangements are required to visit the UAE. Simply disembark your flight at Dubai International Airport and proceed to Immigration, where your passport will be stamped.
