Italy announced as the Country Partner for GESF 2017

08 Feb 2017 |

As part of the Global Education & Skills Forum 5th anniversary event, we are delighted to announce that the Republic of Italy will be our first ever Country Partner.

With 2017 being the year of Italy’s Presidency of the G7 group of countries, we look forward to their engagement on the theme of global citizenship and welcome their delegation led by their Minister of Education, Universities and Research, Hon. Valeria Fedeli, who said:

“GESF 2017 will be a great opportunity for gaining insights from education leaders on global citizenship education and launching our ambitious global citizenship education programme for the year ahead in front of a captivating audience. It will also be an important springboard for the meetings and events focusing on social sustainability, reduction of inequalities, innovation and skills that will take place throughout the year under the Italian G7 Presidency.”

We thank the Republic of Italy and all of our Organisational Partners for their contribution in making Global Education & Skills Forum in 2017 the huge success we hope it will be.

The Global Education and Skills Forum will take place on 18th and 19th March 2017 in Dubai, UAE, with the theme of “How do we make ‘real’ global citizens?”
