On the 23rd and 24th March 2019, more than 2000 delegates gathered at the Global Education and Skills Forum to share, debate and shape new ways for education to transform our world.
GESF 2019 culminated in the awarding of the Global Teacher Prize, where movie star Hugh Jackman announced Peter Tabichi, a Science teacher from Nakuru, Kenya as this year's winner. Peter was awarded the $1 million prize and was recognised for the exceptional work he does for the school and community.
